Core Group Meeting: Building Community with Coquitlam Cohousing
Join Us for a Core Group Meeting: Building Community with Coquitlam Cohousing
As we come together for another core group meeting, we wanted to take a moment to highlight the importance of forming cohousing groups and what it entails.
Cohousing communities are intentional, collaborative neighborhoods where individuals and families come together to share resources, support one another, and create a strong sense of community. Cohousing communities are typically designed with common spaces such as gardens, shared meals, and community events to foster a sense of togetherness and belonging.
Forming a cohousing group requires a lot of effort, but the rewards are tremendous. Cohousing groups typically start with a core group of individuals who share a common vision for a more connected and sustainable way of life. Through regular meetings and discussions, this core group works together to create a shared vision, establish group agreements, and develop a business plan for the community.
As a core group, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community that values diversity, sustainability, and mutual support. We hope that you will join us in our efforts to make our shared vision a reality.
We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting, where we will continue to explore how we can attract more members to our group and work towards our shared goals.
